Camping cigars

A catch up post from this weekend when I went camping.

2 July 2010: Ramon Allones Small Club Corona (box code TEB AGO 08; in humi since 29 January 2010). These are pretty flavoursome for such a small cigar. More metallic than the RASS, without quite the same depth. Not sure I’ll get any more as I’m trending towards larger sizes for cigars this richly-flavoured.

Partagas Chico (in humi since 20 March 2010). Greatly improved now they’ve had some rest. I was really sorry to see this one finish as it was surprisingly smooth and flavoursome. Hoping this wasn’t a one-off for these.

Ramon Allones Specially Selected (box code TEB ENE 08; in humi since 16 March 2009). Can’t really remember.

Vegas Robaina Famoso (box code LPM ABR 08, in humi since 20 January 2010). I think these have actually improved since my last one. This perception may well have been caused by my wine intake that night but without trying another it’s difficult to say…

3 July 2010: El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme (box code ASE MAY 09, in humi since 1 March 2010). Pleasant enough after a hike up Cadair Idris.

Juan Lopez Seleccion No. 2 (box code GAS JUN 08; in humi since 6 October 2009). Nice, but not as good as usual. I suspect this was due to having left my travel humi in a hot car for 12 hours!
