We had this as part of Tesco’s Finest meal deal where you get a main, a side, a dessert and a bottle of wine for £9. Bargain! This was the red option:
This was a few days ago now so I can’t really remember much about it, other than it was much better than I expected. My notes said:
slightly dry tannic
rich fruit berry
slight cherry sourness?
is flavour typical cabsav taste?
I haven’t drunk any cabernet sauvignon since I started ‘tasting stuff’ so I’m wondering if the taste is typical. I shall have to experiment further!
